Release diff

The difference between the desired render and the live objects.

GET releases/<name>/diff returns JSON. The observer runs a server-side apply dry run of the desired render and compares the result with the live objects.

  • status is InSync, Modified or Missing.
  • Empty fields (group, namespace, changes, live, desired) are left out.
  • The compare ignores creationTimestamp, resourceVersion, uid, generation, managedFields and status.
